There are 5 basic methods to add listings into your ds/X database.
From the main admin window
On the "Queue" menu of the main ds/X admin center, you'll find a link labeled "Add Link". You can use this to manually add a single listing into the database.
From the directory browser
When browsing your database categories from the admin center, along with the ability to modify existing listings, you have the ability to add a new link to the currently active category.
From the category manager
Similar to when browsing category listings, you may add a link to the current category from within the category manager.

Importing Databases
You can import links in bulk from an external file or database. This is discussed in great detail in the Import/Export section of the documentation.
Approving Submissions
One of the driving forces behind building a quality database is taking suggestions by your visitors, and adding them into the database as well. Your visitors are an excellent source of new listings ... a million eyes are better than two!
