Logging into your admin center with the user name "admin" and your admin password opens up the Web Based Admin center with full control over everything in the system. There are many companies out there (yours may be one of them) that have specialized staff that need to get into your Hyperseek admin area to do their work, but giving them access to the admin center, due to the nature of some of the material and tools there, could be dangerous or unwise.
To help solve this problem, we allow for 3 additional logins to the admin center, each designed to hide non-essential parts of the admin from the individual accessing the admin program. The login names are specifically setup as shown below, and the passwords for each of these special logins may be set (and changed) by the main administrator on the Main Preferences screen in the admin center.
The 3 Alternate Logins are described below:
Designers
You may login to the admin center as "designer" in addition to the normal "admin" login.
The "Designer" login is a stripped down version of the main admin center with only the visual elements available (templates, language settings, certain admin options).
This allows you to have your web designer operate inside of your Hyperseek in an environment where they cannot get to anything other than the visual things .... thus keeping them away from your data, financials, reports, etc.
Content Managers
You may login to the admin center as "contentmanager" in addition to the normal "admin" login.
The "Content Manager" login is a stripped down version of the main admin center with only the Listing/Keyword/Category elements available (the queue, category manager, etc).
This allows you to have your content manager operate inside of your Hyperseek in an environment where they cannot get to anything other than the listing items .... thus keeping them away from your design and major systems settings.
Affiliate Managers
You may login to the admin center as "affiliatemanager" in addition to the normal "admin" login.
The "Affiliate Manager" login is a stripped down version of the main admin center with only the affiliate related options, reports and utilities available.
This allows you to have your web designer operate inside of your Hyperseek in an environment where they cannot get to anything other than affiliate related things .... thus keeping them away from your data, listings, design elements.
